Les Bertram and Sons (1985) Ltd. (LBS), has been family owned and operated since 1939 and was originally founded by Leslie Howard Bertram. As a result of Leslie’s hard work and honesty, he was able to lay the strong foundation of the company, which LBS still prides itself on today. In 1985, the company was purchased by Bill Bertram (one of Leslie’s four sons) and adopted the legal name of Les Bertram and Sons (1985) Ltd.

After working for the company for many years, Gary and Geoff Bertram purchased the company from their father in 2009. In late 2016, Gary became sole owner of the company and along with his son Ryan, are excited about the future of Les Bertram & Sons. Growing up with a strong sense of tradition, quality and integrity provided by their grandfather, naturally translates into the values which Gary operates the company under today.

Serving the Simcoe County area for more than 85 years, LBS continues to dedicate itself to providing an outstanding product. For over 47 years LBS has been an award winning dealer of pre-engineered Robertson Steel Building Systems for various municipalities and private owners throughout the region.

Les Bertram and Sons (1985) Ltd. offers a variety of general contracting services such as design build, tender bid, and project management. We specialize in industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings, but have also completed numerous agricultural, aviation, and restoration projects.
